My son came over today and did the connection for the Dual LED running/brakelight.
He removed the brakehousing and plate holder. He then ran the ground to the
round off the taillight, cut the ground soldered one of each incoming grounds to each of the cut ground, then soldered the 2 grounds together.
He did the same for the runninglight and brakelight.
There is no room to work and it was a pain getting the gasket to lineup just right. Unless you have a shop with a lift, allow 2 hours for the job.
He notched the plate top and bottom, for the wires, allowing the plate to be removed without cutting the wires.
To make it easy to remove the plate, we left the extra length of wires bundled behind the backing plate, secured with a cable tie.
