I'm trying to get my wife into an SV650. Found a good deal on one in our area.

a 2001 w/ 28k miles. Two Brother's s/o. Never dropped (so they say... will verify tonight), and only a couple nicks on the paint.

I will need to lower it, but will leave that to the professionals (Traxxion in Woodstock, GA).

I don't know if the mileage is a concern. Think these things will do 75-100k (hope). Need new sprocks/chain and probably brakes. No prob... can do these.

My questions are:

1. Should I be concerned w/ mileage? To start off, she will continue to ride the M50 during the week (commuting) and use the SV for the weekends (lots of mountain roads in NE Georgia) and potentially a track day or two.

2. Sprocks/Chain - w/ my FZ1.. the best replacements are factory... they seem to get more miles. Is this the same for the SV?

I'm going to look at it tonight, any tips would be helpful.
