 Triumph demo days
Well I finally got to go to a bike demo here in omaha. about time somebody had one I might add. I rode a few of triumphs bikes and it was fun. I rode a speed triple, 650, sprint st, and the rocket cruiser. I have to say that the sprint was by far my favorite of the ones I rode. I could probably get used to the speed triple, but it was a bit too upright and the feeling of sitting over the front tire was a bit awkward. And I met get a bit flamed by some for this one, but I thought the Rocket 3 was nothing but a big slug. It had power for a cruiser, but it still felt slow. It did cruise very nicely though and on the interstate I found myself cruising in 3rd and 4th gear and it felt very smooth even at 80 in the lower gears. I did get funny looks when I got back and mentioned how slow it felt to me. The sprint was very nice smooth, comfortable and very stylish. I especially liked the 3 exuast pipes under the tail. I could definately see that as a replacement for my ZED when the time comes. All and all though it was a very fun day and it's always nice to be able to ride some bikes that you normally would not get too.
