i enjoy the wave, at first it was a sign of acceptance into the community of bikers. now i'm starting to see the cagers react to it when i'm out and i think its even more powerful. you know they're looking at you, they always are, youre on a bike and therefore 'cool' (except for EZridr1 who keeps posting pics of my girlfriend as his sig) then they see how polite and courteous we bikers are to each other with things like the wave - even across medians and divided highways - and surrendering right-of-way so a fellow biker wont get stuck behind a hazardous cage etc. the little things we do for each other because we have to think about what we're doing, as well as think about what others are doing, and consider how everything is going to come together; and, i may be nuts, but i could swear i'm starting to see cages around me start to ease off a bit and start acting according to their surroundings instead of reacting to their own idiocy.
would i wave at 200 bikes in a row? no.
(but i may flip a bizzle and jump in line to see where the party's at!)
