Sarge,

I just ordered the Easy Bracket for my C50T. I called the guy directly at Easy Brackets to make sure I ordered the proper kit for my bike. There are two kits available: one for applications WITH a sissy bar that attaches to the fender rail; and one WITHOUT a sissy bar attached to the fender rail. Since my bike HAS a sissy bar and it's attached to the fender rail, I had to order the kit with the "BR" in the package.

So, to answer your question, YES, you will need the longer bolts. The price of the kits is the same, so maybe you can send your shorter bolts back and they can swap you for the longer bolts. I'm assuming that the sissy bar you are speaking of adding will attach to the fender rails???

Easy Brackets is located here in CA and here's their toll-free number:
1-866-521-3024. Probably best to call them directly and see what they can do. The guy I spoke to was very nice, and that's even with the fact that I called him at 8:30 Easter morning! (I wasn't thinking and was expecting a answer machine).

Good luck,
Daryl
