The carbs are cleaned - good thing - so main thing to do is now sync them, this is done using a manometer and should be performed at ~1800rpm, this will get the carbs opening up all at the same time, the bolts/screws on either side are for the fuel/air mixture (i think) and the idle is adjusted by a lone bolt/screw on the furthest left hand side. The vacuum hose attaches to the right hand side of the carbs and to the back of the petcock, also make sure you put the main fuel and reserve fuel lines on the correct sides (i have done this wrong, very embarrasing running out of pertrol because of this!).
Am about to do the same to my carbs on my '96 gsx600 this weekend so will post an apology if i have mislead you here.
