Hey,, went on the rifle website. Checked out their design of the shield and talked to the rep from Rifle. Seems like they may have figured out the wind problem.

Here is why I think it may work. I put a 1/4" washer up under the lower screw points of the stock shield. That would be angling it rearward more. Seems like the buffeting was less than before and I was able to tolerate it.

Their system uses a wider shield which should cause the wind to split further apart from left to right and not come back together until after it goes by you. The angle of the shield looks like it might put the wind aiming rearward and possibly shoot it over your head to where it comes back together with the left and right split at the same point possibly.

I am interested in buying this system as soon as I recover from the purchase of the center stand and the handgrips,,not to mention the upcoming brake pad job the LC is getting when the tank recall is done.

Was just wondering if anyone here has tried the rifle shield. I am looking into the light grey tint with the +3" or the +5" shield with the 2" less width to allow for the use of the handgrip covers.

Anyone with feedback on this shield would be appreciated. They say they have sold about thirty of them thus far and they have not been out that long so they say they have had no complaints. They do offer a full money back gaurantee on them.
