 It begins
Well I don't know about the rest of you but I still think that Flat tracking is one of the best types of Motorcycle racing there is. The pro circuit rarely makes it to Texas any more. But we do get to have the VDTRA (Veteran Dirt Track Racers) race often in Texas. VDTRA refers to the bike not the rider. This weekend they will be in Waco at the Waco Eagles Motorcycle Club Track. On Saturday Night they will race around the 1/4 mi track and on Sunday they will be on the 1/2 mi track. It is great fun for only $10 a day. I will be taking photos so I'll be real close to the action.
This first race has an impressive purse so there are some real names to drop as far as racers, Chris Carr, Terry & Teddy Povey, Mike Kidd, and the list goes on. I would encourage all of you in the area to come to Waco and enjoy the show.
