You say you want to get rid of the R1 because they are too common. Hell around here gixxers and cbr's are a dime a dozen. Guess it just depends on where ya live. Anywho If you like the twisties and want a bike that will handle them well then I would go with the gixxer. Light and flickable. And If you can keep the front end down then I could not imagine there being too big of a power difference. The busa is fast as hell and a good rider can keep up in the twisties, but it is more suited for touring. I consider it one of the most comfortable sport types available. For me a buse would be perfect, but we don't have many twisties around here either. Like has been said. Sit on em. test them if they'll let ya and decide which you like better based on what kind of riding you do.
