The following descriptions and Pictures are only posted for informational purposes only. What you do with this is your call. It would have been at least a week and a half before I could have gotten it to the dealer, So I did it myself. I will have the dealer check off on it on my next service. Picture one is of the Left side of the bike with the neck cover removed. Behind the brace bar and the cables is the ignition switch,The red wire and green connector on top is the reason for the recall. 
I removed the brace to get access to the cable, the back of the ignition switch can now be seen with the cable coming out of the bottom of the switch and the connector. Finger is next to the cable. the cable was being pinched between the switch,the throttle and clutch cables by the brace bar (it was OK in my case)
Cable and connector pulled out from under the frame rail in preparation of rerouting
cable rerouted so as not to be pinched , green connector can be seen in it's new position
Brace bar back in place, note the zip tie to keep the connector in place and not vibrating
