Personally I generally wave at all riders, except if I'm on the clutch, then I'll toot the horn. It's funny the clickesh way some riders can get. Touring bikers don't wave to sport riders or sport riders won't wave to cruisers etc. The other day i pulled up next to some guys on Harleys. I was promptly snubbed but that was ok. Well at the light the guy in the lane next to me jumped out as if we were racing, I didn't realise I had been challenged untill he was about 50' ahead of me. It just didn't register right away... ( I mean - YOU, you want to race me????? On a Harley??? I'm LOL

) But they all thought it was hilarious at my expense. So anyway when I pulled up to him at the next light I gunned it loudly
, got his attention and then backed up 3 bike lengths, shook my head like, nah that's not enough and ended up spotting him about 50' I gunned my engine again and hand signaled let's go. They diddn't aprreciate that at all and turnes en masse at that light.
