It didn't take long after impact for him to stop,but it seemed like a while before he got out,I was quite happy just lying on the ground anyway!
The driver couldn't apologise enough and tried explain why he didn't see me.I did point out that I had been behind him for 300 yards and spent most of the time in plain view of his mirrors and the only reason he didn't see me when he started reversing is because he had turned the van a bit and moved the view he got in his mirrors.
He was sorry and even offered to put the bike in the back of his van,but I told him that me and my bike had had enough of vans for one day!
