A tape measure, Hubby and maybe one other. You sit on your bike in the upright position, find where you want to sit have some one hold the front of the bike, have Hubby take a measurement of the position to see how high and how far towards you, you want the bars.
Sometimes the riser alone is not enough, a good seat maker can reshape the dish of your seat to place you in a more comfortable position.
Another addition is a drivers backrest which makes it easier on your back. This is where a good shop comes in handy, or a knowledgeable riding buddie.
Good luck.
