Hey I'm new here, but I have a question. I've had my GZ250 for 4 years now (it's a 2001 model), and months ago it started making a weird clicking noise. I haven't had the money for anybody to fix the problem until now. I took it in, and the guy said it was the timing chain and/or valves, but said he didn't have the time to fix it (and all the other places are busy until mid next month).
I didn't ride it much after the noise started (only about 4 days). And the guy showed me where the valves (I guess) are... but I have no clue what to do. It clicks slowly when it's idle, but faster when I put on the throttle.
Could anybody help me here? I'm pretty good at fixing stuff if I know what to do. Or how much do you think it'll cost to get that fixed? (the mechanic I went to didn't tell me). Thanks in advance.
