if it has been sitting for awhile, you will most likely have to clean the carb, use carb or break clean get all of the holes clean, if you have to, use small wire to get in all of the holes, but don't break the wire off in the holes, you may laugh, but i have seen it done. check the floats and other carb components, once you know it can get fuel, and air(clean or new air filter), put a new plug in it, now see where you are. good luck.
