I'm new to this forum and just started riding after a 10 year absence. I just recieved some LINDBY bars and the installation instructions said that they are not designed to "provide leg or vehicle protection in the event of a fall at any speed". I guess my question is how can a company market a product as an engine guard and then put a disclaimer on their product.

This is my first cruiser (all the others were sport bikes) and I must say I love the bike.
