Some dealers do this, others do not. It is merely extra profit. It shouln't be too hard to either get the dealer to drop the extra fees if they want your business, or go to a different dealer.
Some dealers really suck. Others are cool.
I wonder how much this dealer will want to charge you for the 600 mile oil change inspection trip. I'm guessing over $200, but I am a sour old cuss...
