My bike is scheduled for it's break in maintance 1 August (only appt could get that was 3 weeks ago) I'm well over the 600 mile range by about 2,200 miles. I put my bike on the lift in my gargage tightned up all bolts, changed final gear oil and engine oil myself (bought oil/filter/final gear oil from dealer). When I take my bike in for 1 Aug appointment. Should I be able to tell them I don't need oil or final gear oil changed? This should cut down on the cost? They charge 250.00 for breakin maintance.
