Learn to ride in the rain or die from not knowing how to or leave the bike at home unless there is only a 5% chance or less of rain that day.
Personally I ride up to a 60% chance of afternoon showers. And sometime I beat them home and sometimes I don't but I can ride in heavy down pours if and when needed.
