Default Don't try to teach your girlfriend how to ride

At least don't try if you are as unqualified to do so as I am. My bike got a 0 mph drop in the school parking lot. Girlfriend got a scatched elbow (through the heavy sweatshirt I made her wear) and the bike got a knocked loose clutch handle (easily moved back and tightened up) and a scraped foot peg rubber. Now I will let her wait for the MSF class in two months so somebody who nows how to teach her can help her out. She really wanted to try, now she feels that she can wait...

I guess when you're slowed down to zero mph, it becomes hard to balance. She was trying to shift so her left foot was not where it should have been at a stop.

Nobody hurt, no real damage. Wait for a real teacher. Lesson learned.
